Community Outreach Specialist, Osceola County

Johanna Miranda serves as the Community Outreach Specialist for Osceola County at UPLIFT Drug-Free Coalitions, where she is dedicated to building strong partnerships that promote healthy, drug-free communities. In her role, she collaborates with schools, healthcare providers, faith-based organizations, government agencies, nonprofits, and community leaders to expand prevention education, strengthen protective factors, and connect youth and families with valuable resources.

A bilingual professional fluent in English and Spanish, Johanna is passionate about ensuring prevention efforts are accessible to the diverse communities of Osceola County. She leads outreach initiatives, coordinates community events, and supports evidence-based programs such as I Choose ME and Better Without It, empowering youth to make healthy choices and reach their full potential.

Johanna brings experience in education, community engagement, and counseling, with a strong commitment to serving children, youth, and families. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling, further strengthening her ability to support individuals and communities through prevention, education, and advocacy.
Driven by a heart for service and collaboration, Johanna believes lasting change happens when communities work together. Her goal is to help create a healthier, safer Osceola County where every young person has the opportunity to thrive.
